Sophie's Restaurant

Sophie changes her menu every day depending on what is fresh and in season and what is available at that time of year.

A speciality is fish. Different types of fantastically fresh fish are often on the menu (weather and season permitting). Similarly, meat and poultry are selected from local Gloucestershire farmers.

Prices for 2 courses are £14 [lunch] or £26 [evening] and for 3 courses are £18 [lunch] or £29 [evening]. Below is an example of a typical evening menu that we offer.

Questions for Sophie:

Are you a cheese or pudding person?  What is your favourite?

"It depends on how I feel but generally I’ll go for pudding. I think that a good dessert is often the sign of a good restaurant. For me, pudding should be delicious but straightforward. My mouth watering favourite is a summer’s Tarte aux Fraises."
